PROSPECTUS

The Shiwalik Pine wood Sr. sec. School Shanti estate Chouki Maniar(Baruhi) formerly SPW was founded on January 2010. The school is a non-profit institution operated exclusively to provide quality education to children up to senior secondary level.

Affiliation &NOC: The school is affiliated (affiliation No. 32523) to the HP Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharmsala Distt . Managing Committee: Managing Committee SPW Shanti Estate Chouki Maniar(Baruhi) is governed by a Society (Regd by govt of HP). The Secretary of the society work as M.Director of the School. The Managing Committee lays down broad policies and guidelines of the school for its smooth functioning

The school was established on January 2010 with150 students and 15 teachers . It is affiliated to the HPBOSE Dharmsala Himachal Pradesh and has only Science streams . We enhance our teachers potentials by regular workshops, inservice training, regular pep talks and staff development programme. Despite the constraints of space, over crowded classrooms, different campuses spread at different places, universal admission policy, admission round the year, the school has been functioning exceedingly well almost in a copybook fashion.

Our students are doing well in co-curricular activities and have participated in cricket, badminton, table tennis and athletics and done

The school academic year is from 08 April to 31 March of the following year.
Curriculum: SPW follows theHPBOSE Syllabus of Studies in the following subjects:
Kindergarten level: English, Math, Nursery Rhymes, Hindi, General Knowledge, Creative Activities and Physical Activities
Primary & Secondary Level : English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Science, Social Science, Computer Studies, Physical Education, Arts & Crafts, Art of Healthy & Productive Living, Music and Drawing.
Senior Secondary Level: For Science streams: English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT, Physical Education,
